NightTime with Andy Bumatai...an overview |
| |
“NightTime” is Hawaii’s first prime time, weeknight, talk show. Presently airing at 9:35 p.m. on K5 with a rebroadcast at mid-night on the CW digital channel 93 this half hour program is designed to be “local” but at the same time both understandable and enjoyable to “mainland” audiences. If the tourist audience who have watched our taping at the Outrigger Waikiki are any indication we have accomplished this. This is very important because we are committed to syndicating NightTime nationally.
NightTime is the most ambitious local, entertainment oriented, television production in the history of Hawaii. Since our first show aired on Aug. 6th 2007 we have shot, as of February 5, 2008, 110 half hour programs. The number of shows increases by 5 weekly.
NightTime is fashioned in the classic talk show style of the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Late Night with David Letterman. And like these show draws its uniqueness from the style and personality of its host. As the host NightTime Andy Bumatai represents all of the qualities essential to a successful talk show format. |
