Education has always been very important to me and making sure my children, Ace and Amy, receive the best we are able to offer has always been my number one priority. That they are happy, enjoy life and learning is my reward.

During the first half of the day I am a teacher's assistant at an elementary school and on the days we shoot NightTime I go from school to the set with a stop at Costco for snacks for the crew in between.

On the set my job is to get the "clearances" of any guests that appear on the show, and to keep and eye on my husband (Andy) making sure he keeps his blood sugar up, doesn't become too excited and stays focused on the immediate tasks at hand. I am often asked how I am able to do this with such a strong personality. There is no easy answer but I will say that raising teenagers and working with second and third graders dally helps.

I've been called "show Mom" and that's flattering to me because the crew of NightTime is like a big family and I'm happiest when everyone is happy and constantly leaning to produces the best shows we can.

Now, do your homework or you're grounded.
